Finance and Budget

The Budget and Finance service is responsible for ensuring financial accountability efficiency, strengthening of internal controls, coordination and provision of support to the establishment and monitoring of UN-Habitat’s biennial work programme and budgets. The unit also supports the design of strategies to enhance UN-Habitat’s financial stability of core resources and other resource mobilization activities, and provides other central and technical financial services to enhance successful achievement of overall organizational goals and objectives.
