Political scientist with expertise in governance, institutional change, policy development and integration (EU) from studies in European Integration and negotiation of international climate change agreements .
Experience in Evaluation (writing report and managing evaluation process), project development, results-based management, knowledge management, science peer review, drafting assessment report and review, new environmental science and emerging issues, publication planning and organizing, editing and management, data collection, survey and delphi studies.
Evaluation Unit
Currently, he is the Chief of the Independent Evaluation Unit, UN-Habitat. He holds a PhD, with distiction, in Project Management, a Master Degree in Biotechonology and a Bachelor of Science Degree. Before Joining the UN System in 2000, he taught at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (1991-1994) and Worked for Sida (1995-1999), He has published various articles in the field of biotechnology and various evaluation reports, norms and standards and guidance documents.
