Umoja Training Announcement for Transactional Users
Dear Colleagues,
After months of preparation and hard work, Umoja went live at UN-Habitat on 1 June 2015.
As you know, Umoja is an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution, which has replaced UN legacy systems such as IMIS and many others. Umoja aims at streamlining business processes, reducing waiting time on administrative requests, harmonizing the use of data and information across the Secretariat and enable Self-Service for Staff and Managers.
Transactional User
As a Staff Member working in [Finance, Budget, Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain, Human Resources, Travel, Payroll, Insurance] you have been identified as a Transactional User in Umoja.
From June 2015, you have been using Umoja to carry out your daily duties. As a Transactional User of Umoja, you are required to undergo mandatory official Umoja Training via inspira and become certified through assessments, to ensure that you are able to use the new solution to carry out your work without disruption.
Please speak with your supervisor and/or the Training Coordinator at UN-Habitat for details on the Training requirements for your assigned roles in Umoja.
For Transactional User, Manager Self-Service or Employee Self-Service access to Umoja, you login to Umoja at: http://login.umoja.un.org (Umoja Dashboard)
Please note: All Umoja users need ONE Unite Identity user ID & TWO different passwords to access Umoja: 1. Unite Identity ID and password (that was provided earlier) and 2. Umoja/SAP password (provided 2 days before go live).
Upcoming Umoja Training Workshops
UN-Habitat coordinated successful Instructor-Led Training workshops (ILTs) by Regional Offices (namely Regional Office for Arabs States, Regional Office for Latin America and Caribbean and Regional for Asia and Pacific) before going live on three key pillars that are Grant and Project Management, Funds Management and Source-to-Acquire. Regional Office for Africa training workshop is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2015 through to 2nd September 2015 on the same pillars and invitations has already been sent out to the expected participants.
