Travel Restrictions - new Covid-19 measure for passenger's arriving Uganda

We have received the following update regarding passengers traveling into Uganda




Uganda has introduced new Covid-19 measures that are in place at all points of entry including Entebbe International Airport.


All arriving passengers including children under 3 years are required to provide a negative COVID-19 test certificate issued no more than 72 hours before boarding the aircraft to Uganda or crossing land borders.


Additional mandatory test upon arrival in Uganda

All passengers arriving at Entebbe International Airport will have to undergo a mandatory test on landing at their own cost, with a single check going for USD 60. 


The new directive, which takes effect on September 3, will be applied to all passengers irrespective of their vaccination status.
