Changes to the Umoja IPMR application (Gender/Disability Tags)/ Now Live!

Dear Colleagues,

Further to the message, kindly note that the anticipated changes are now live. The system now makes it mandatory for all projects to be completely tagged for Gender and Disability Inclusion before they can be approved.

In addition, we would like to remind you that all projects in IPMR must also be completely tagged for contribution to the SDGs and Geographical location of end beneficiary.

These Tags are necessary for the Secretariat to report on its obligations to addressing cross cutting issues as well the scope of its’ geographical reach. We therefore request you to ensure that all Projects that you are responsible for are fully tagged by SDG, Geography and Gender and Disability Inclusion, by the end of Q1 2025.

For ease of reference, please click here to access the end-to-end guide on Project and Programme Planning in IPMR.  Please see pages 31-33 for guidance on Tagging.

Kindly note that the use of all tags is further subject to internal guidance developed by each entity. Should you have any substantive questions, we would request you to contact the respective focal points in your respective entity.

Online Training on the Gender tag is available on the CDOTS campus. You will need to have an account to access the training using this link.

Online training on the Disability tag is available on Ilearn following this link.
